My friend Lisa suggested Whipped Lightning for my fourth of July party. It’s alcoholic whipped cream and looks really cool! I emailed the company, and sadly, it is NOT gluten-free 😦

Whipahol is made with grain alcohol that is made from wheat, as well as a few other things. It is not gluten free, sorry,

Moore’s Marinade

Fourth of July weekend was spent at the lake with family and friends. I wasn’t in charge of the food so I just observed was what served, along with ingredients, and ate the GF items. One dish was grilled chicken marinated in Moore’s marinade. The chicken was moist and delicious! My sister said Moore’s is just like Dale’s, but I wouldn’t know. I like that this marinade is labeled “Gluten-free” on the front of the label. Not sure where you can find it since I didn’t buy it, just passing on the info about another GF product 🙂

Z Pizza gluten-free pizza

I recently visited my best friend in Orange County, CA. I saw a sign for Z Pizza and decided to try it since I keep hearing about GF pizza at this great chain. I ordered a veggie pizza which only come in one (personal) size. The pizza was great. The crust was on the thinner, crispier side, with light sauce and soft (but not mushy) veggies. I was told they use dedicated pans for GF, but shared ovens. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a great meal!
